Transport will be available from the Hilton Hotel to this event for out of town visitors.

  • Meet WI Slow Food Chefs who will prepare and present a local, seasonal feast featuring regional foods.
  • Urban farmer, writer, photographer: Michael Ableman, keynote speaker
  • Live music and Ethnic performers
  • Evening stroll through the Botanical Domes
    Put Milwaukee on the map as a leader in urban agriculture and sustainable living

    Pollinating Our Future Saturday Conference with Town Hall Meeting and Regional Dinner
    Location: Hilton Hotel, City Center, Milwaukee
    Saturday, March 1st, 8:00am - 9:30pm

    Days Events:

    There will be the opportunity to select 4 workshops/ forums.
    Lunch will be a box lunch so you are free to watch videos, visit exhibits, attend small group networking meetings.
    The final formal gathering of the day will be a Town Hall Meeting, in order to share learnings, and recommend future networking, support and plans to promote change in our food systems, both locally and nationally. Dinner prepared with regional foods will be presented at this time.
    Exhibits Regional urban agricultural activists will exhibit
    Book sales of urban agricultural books, including books by some of our presenters.
    Video presentations Videos regarding urban agriculture will be available for viewing.
    Meals Morning: coffee, rolls, Brown box Lunch, Evening Regional Feast in the Hilton Crystal ballroom
    Cost: $125, after Feb 16th $150.
